The CECAM (Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moléculaire) Flagship Workshop on “Perspectives and challenges of future high-performance computing in atomistic and molecular simulation” will take place from 19 to 21 February 2024 in Berlin, Germany.
The meeting serves as an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, software engineers, and hardware specialists. Topics include:
– Highlights in classical molecular simulations
– Advances in quantum mechanical modelling
– Hybrid QM/MM methods and their applications
– Algorithms and co-design for novel hardware
– Parallel programming models
– Technological trends & new computing paradigms
We invite abstract submissions for contributed talks and posters. Furthermore, we seek applications for giving one of the ASC Lectures (see below). Contributions from the application fields should explicitly address computational aspects.
Registration is open now until 10 January 2024 at

ASC Lectures are oral contributions on significant developments, which the Organisation Committee feels merit enhanced visibility by allocating more time (30 min) than for regular oral contributions (15 min), giving room to, e.g., provide more background and context to address the broader audience of the workshop and/or to elaborate on advances at the interface of molecular dynamics, electronic structure calculations, and innovative HPC.
