Ultrafast dynamics of building blocks of life – fully funded doctoral student and postdoc position in Hamburg, Germany


CFEL Controlled Molecule Imaging Group is looking for candidates for fully funded positions for doctoral students and postdocs on the following topics:
– Ultrafast light-induced dynamics of model chromophores in size-controlled water clusters
– Laser-induced electron diffraction of thermal-energy ultrafast (bio)chemical dynamics
– Imaging controlled nanoparticles: Cooling, controlling, and imaging of nanoparticles

They are looking for highly motivated colleagues that are great team players and have/bring experience in several of the following fields: experimental physics, molecular physics, vacuum operation, cryogenics, laser physics, light or particle detection, aerosol physics and fluid dynamics, quantum physics, ultrafast dynamics.
