Plasma Novus (Clean Air Solutions SL), a Start-up founded in April 2021, is a company dedicated to research in vacuum science, spectroscopy and gas-discharge tubes. Our technology (Glow Discharge Cell, GDC) is applicable among others, to fields such as atmospheric science, synthesis, chemical analysis and removal of gas-phase contaminants. Our investigations and product lines include the following topics:
- Design, fabrication and application of Gas-Discharge Tubes / Electron Tubes
- Implementation of plasmas produced in GDCs into Mass Spectrometers
- Glow Discharge Cells Optical Emission Spectroscopy (GDC-OES)
- Instrument development and Analytical Chemistry
- Generation of H2 via “plasmalysis”
- Oil-Consumption meter/systems
Expecting an increase in demand of our various GDC devices, we will continue performing profound investigations in Non-Thermal Plasma fundamentals, related devices and sustainable science. Thus, we are looking for Doctors (Ph.D) in any of the following fields or related: Physics, Chemical-Physics, Electrical Engineer, and holding:
- Expertise in vacuum science, leak detection and/or pump technology
- Strong background in physics, especially in plasma science
- In depth understanding of ion-molecule gas-phase reaction and laser-matter interaction (experiment and theory: MALDI, RRKM, etc.)
- Hands-on in technologies (FTIR, LIF, etc.) for quantification of gaseous molecules
- Knowledge in optics, lasers, spectroscopy and mass-spectrometry will be considered as an advantage
- High skills in instrument development and software (Wolfram Mathematica, LabVIEW, Python, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
