The Group of Atomic and Molecular Physics (GEFAM) of the Spanish Royal Societies of Physics (RSEF) and Chemistry (RSEQ) and the Division of Atomic and Molecular Physics (DFAM) of the Portuguese Physics Society (SPF) are proud to announce the 18th. edition of our International Conference Series
IBERIAN JOINT MEETING ON ATOMIC AND MOLECULAR PHYSICS – IBER 2025
which will be held in Vigo (Spain) the days July 21 to 24, 2025. The Conference will be organized by the Quantum Chemistry Group of the University of Vigo. The conference venue will be Hotel Los Galeones, which is located very close to the city center. Vigo is a vibrant industrial, touristic and fishing town on the Atlantic coast of Galicia.
The IBER meeting Series follows a tradition of international biannual Conferences sequentially organized in Portugal and Spain which started in 1993, the last editions being organized in Évora (IBER 2019), Málaga (IBER 2022) and Coimbra (IBER 2023).
The IBER 2025 Conference will bring together members of the international community of researchers in Atomic and Molecular Physics, providing ground for the exchange of information on experimental and theoretical topics.
The Conference will be organized around Plenary Talks, Invited Talks, Oral Talks and Poster sessions, to promote stimulating interaction between all participants. An effort will be done to encourage oral presentations by young researchers in the field. The Conference fees have been kept reasonably low to facilitate the participation of Ph.D. students, Postdocs and young researchers. Young researchers can also apply to the “Delgado-Barrio” award, consisting in a Diploma and a monetary prize (2 x 1000 euros).
In addition to the scientific activities the conference will include a touristic activity and a Gala Dinner on the last day of the Conference.
