An opening for a Research Fellow in Computational Biophysics at the University of Leeds. This BBSRC funded position focuses on advancing our understanding of the enzyme SleB and its role in bacterial spore germination.
The successful candidate will join the Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Medicine (LICAMM) and work within Dr Antreas Kalli’s group, applying molecular modelling and molecular dynamics simulations to study SleB and its partner proteins in complex membrane environments. The role also involves close collaboration with Dr Graham Christie’s group at the University of Cambridge.
