Open for applications for a position of Lecturer in physical and analytical chemistry. Applicants should possess a PhD degree as well as evidence of scholarship and ability in physical and analytical chemistry.
Candidates must be able to teach basic and advanced analytical and physical chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, to contribute to the laboratory courses, and to manage several major departmental research instruments, including NMR, LCMS and other spectrometers. The candidates is also expected to undertake research projects in collaboration with our faculty members.
The successful applicant will be expected to conduct undergraduate and graduate teaching and engage in related scholarly activities. They are also expected to participate in the outreach activities of the Division and in academic/professional activities that facilitate the industrial placement of our students.
The starting salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of NTU provides a multidisciplinary academic program that provides students with a wide-ranging and up-to-date education. It offers undergraduate training leading to BSc (Hons) in Chemistry as well as graduate training leading to MSc and PhD degrees.
