Applications for two international prizes have been launched:
1. To celebrate the achievements of Professor Bader, the *Richard F. W. Bader International Prize for Excellence in Electron Density Research* will be awarded to *one* established scientist at an advanced stage of their career

*Richard F. W. Bader (1931-2012)*. Bader was a Professor of theoretical chemistry at McMaster University. He was a towering figure in quantum chemistry, best known as the originator and primary developer of the Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules (QTAIM) and a large part of what came to be known as the broader field of Quantum Chemical Topology (QCT). Bader’s impact upon computational chemistry, crystallography, and materials science was transformative to both applied and fundamental research.
2. To honor the memory of Prof. Miguel Blanco and to celebrate his work, the *Miguel A. Blanco International Prize for Early Career Work in Charge Density* will be awarded to *one *early-career scientists

*Miguel A. Blanco (1969-2010)* (formerly of the Departamento de Química Física y Analítica, Facultad de Química, Universidad de Oviedo) was one of the most innovative and original theorists of his generation. In his short career, he left a mark on the field of charge density research through several important contributions. Miguel’s premature death has deprived the community from not only his scientific brilliance, but from also his generous personality.
Those are working in chemical bonding are particularly invited to consider such opportunities. Self-nominations and nominations are both welcomed
