A public call for applications for a permanent position at the Physics Department of UFES (Vitória/Espírito Santo/Brazil) will be opened from 01/10/2018 to 30/10/2018. All applicants will be expected at Vitória/Espírito Santo for a mandatory five day period of face-to-face tests and interviews, and the selected one should start in early 2019. Basic mandatory requirements for the selection process are
- To be fluent, both writing and speaking, in portuguese, since the tests should be held in portuguese;
- To have a graduation degree in Physics;
- To have a PhD degree in either Physics, Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry or Physical Sciences;
The expected dates for the tests are from 10/12/2018 to 14/12/2018. The final and definitive date will be published at the university website as soon as set.
Among the requirements of the position are teaching (in portuguese) physics to both undergrad and PhD students and develop research activities (publications, supervising students, etc…) on the field of Atomic and Molecular Physics.
