The summer school will take place 16 to 21 June 2019 at the WestCord Hotel Ameland, on the beautiful Ameland Island in the north of the Netherlands.
In the framework of the summer school we aim to provide young scientists (Masters, PhDs, and Postdocs) with a comprehensive introduction to different aspects of the search for physics beyond the Standard Model. Topics will include the status of the Standard Model and its extensions, parity violation, search for the electron electric dipole moment and for variation of the fundamental constants, methods to manipulate and control atoms, ions and molecules, and theoretical approaches. By bringing together enthusiastic scientists and students from different disciplines connected to the search for physics beyond the Standard Model we hope to foster the development of this field and to encourage new collaborations. The confirmed invited speakers are Marianna Safronova (University of Delaware), Michael Tarbutt (Imperial College London), Rob Timmermans (University of Groningen), Rick Bethlem, (VU Amsterdam), Mikhail Kozlov (Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute), and José R. Crespo López-Urrutia (MPIK Heldelberg). More information and registration form can be found here:

We would like to invite your PhD (and Masters) students and postdocs to join us at the summer school and benefit both from the lectures and from the networking opportunities. Application deadline is April 1st!
We would appreciate it if you could forward this email to anyone who would be interested in attending.
