Postdoctoral position available in Theoretical Chemistry

A postdoctoral position in theoretical physical chemistry is available in my group for research related to a new DOE center:  “Computational Chemical Science Center: Chemistry in Solution and at Interfaces”.  The Center is supported by the Computational and Theoretical Chemistry program of the DOE Office of Science, and has a main hub at Princeton University, a secondary hub at Temple University and nodes at the State University of New York (Stony Brook) and at the City University of New York (Hunter College). The goal of the Center is to advance the state of the art in theory and molecular simulation of water including: phase diagrams, ionic solutions, liquid-solid interfaces, proton and electron transfer reactions in solvated environments. The focus of my group will be on electron driven and electron transfer processes in biomolecular and solvated environments. More information about the center can be found at the website http://chemlabs.princeton.edu/ccsc/. Postdoctoral fellows will work in a collaborative environment.

Highly motivated candidates with a strong background in theoretical chemistry,  physics or  related fields are encouraged to apply. Expertise needed includes experience in scientific  programming, ab initio electronic  structure methods and/or simulations in condensed phases.

I would appreciate it if you can notify qualified candidates about this opportunity. Interested candidates can contact me directly at smatsika@temple.edu.
