David Long’s group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA (just outside Washington, DC) is looking for up to two postdoctoral scholars. The researchers will work in areas such as optical spectroscopy, optomechanics, integrated photonics, and quantum sensing. The development and use of optical frequency combs are a particular focus. Researchers with a background in any of these areas would be well suited to the group.
