CampuS Theoretical Group (http://campusys.qui.uam.es/) is eagerly looking for a postdoc to work in the theoretical study and computational modelling of magnetic nanostrucutres and materials under extreme pressure conditions.
The appointee shall work with Prof. Fernando Martín and in close collaboration with experimental groups at the IMDEA-Nanoscience Institute and the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Candidate Profile: PhD degree in Physics, Chemical Physics or related areas. We will positively evaluate any experience in theoretical simulations of periodic systems, electronic structure methodologies and molecular dynamics. Good knowledge of English and programing skills (FORTRAN or C) is highly recommended. Immediate availability.
Position details: The position should start as soon as possible and may be funded for one year. Gross salary (before applying national income taxes) is 27.000 Euros/year aprox.
