Two postdoctoral positions are opened in my group. Our current researches are two directions: (1) The spectroscopy and dynamics of molecular superexcited states. The experimental method is a combination of XUV laser pump-UV laser probe and ion velocity map imaging methods; (2) VUV laser/desorption ionization mass spectrometry imaging. The VUV laser is produced in a Hg cell using four-wave mixing method. The purpose is to obtain MS images of biological cells with submicrometer spatial resolution. Candidates who obtained their Ph.D degrees recently and have background in experimental molecular spectroscopy and mass spectrometry are encouraged to apply.
