Two postdoctoral positions are available from October 2019, applying single molecule fluorescence/super-resolution microscopy methods to biological problems; the organisation of DNA in the nucleus and the molecular basis of Alzheimer’s disease, in the group of David Klenerman in the Department of Chemistry. Both positions would suit a physical scientist who is keen to apply spectroscopy to biology . Knowledge of biology is not required, all that is needed is an interest to perform multi-disciplinary research and the biological aspects of the research are well supported by local collaborative groups.
