Ultracold Quantum Molecular Systems Group led by Dr Michał Tomza at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw in Poland – http://quantmol.uw.edu.pl – is still looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the field of theoretical AMO physics / quantum chemistry with a focus on ultracold collisions and/or ultracold molecules. The deadline is next week.
The position is offered within the project „Quantum engineering of novel ultracold complex molecular systems: from diatomic to polyatomic molecules” funded by the Foundation for Polish Science. The successful candidate will use and develop methods of quantum scattering theory and/or electronic structure to investigate properties of novel ultracold quantum molecular systems.
The candidate is expected to have experience in applying quantum scattering theory and/or electronic structure theory to molecular systems, confirmed by scientific publications. Employment can start on November 1 or later with a competitive salary of ~2000 EUR/month after taxes.
