A two-year postdoctoral scholarship is available in experimental molecular physics in the group Dr. Vitali Zhaunerchyk at the Department of Physics, the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
The scholarship holder will assist us in developing and commissioning an instrument for high-resolution spectroscopy of gas-phase molecular aggregates. The instrument comprises a molecular laser-desorption source and a reflectron-type mass spectrometer. Upon commissioning of the instrument, the scholarship holder will utilize it for structural analysis of homo- and hetero-chiral dimers of simple biomolecules such as amino acids.
