At Newcastle Chemistry, we are looking to grow our Data and Digital research and welcome applications for the new round of the Newcastle University Academic Track Fellowship scheme (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/nuact/apply/dataanddigital/). This aims to find and develop our research leaders of the future. Since launching in 2019 it has appointed 45 Fellows and the university are investing £30m over five years to build and support around 100 NUAcT Fellows.
If you join the scheme, you will receive an outstand support package. It offers 5 years’ salary, which is fully flexible (full time or part time), up to £50K research expenses and a PhD studentship. Subject to a successful review, you will move to an open-ended academic contract at the end of your 5 years, and we have a dedicated NUAcT Team who support you throughout your Fellowship.
So, if your expertise and passion lie in generating and/or using large and complex data sets, developing and applying new data science techniques in chemistry, digital methodologies and digital technologies, we’d love to hear from you.
