The European LEAPS ULTRAFAST Postdoctoral Network accepts applications from early-career researchers in ultrafast science until 30 September 2026. Coordinated by DESY in Hamburg, Germany, and funded by the European Union, the programme connects leading research infrastructures across Europe that are members of LEAPS (League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources). LEAPS ULTRAFAST offers outstanding research opportunities, structured training and international networking across leading European research environments.

LEAPS ULTRAFAST aims to connect outstanding postdoctoral researchers with world-class science, advanced technologies and a strong international research network. Funded by the European Commission through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme and coordinated by DESY, LEAPS ULTRAFAST will offer around 50 postdoctoral fellowships across six European countries over the next five years. Research topics range from ultrafast dynamics in matter and quantum technologies to energy research, health sciences and advanced imaging methods.
